Our Staff

PASTOR   Rev. David H. Bennett

Pastor David Bennett has been serving our congregation since 2003. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Eastern Nazarene College (both in Massachusetts). Prior to seminary, David worked at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for Aged in Boston on the recreation therapy and corporate communications staff. For many years he also worked as a freelance photographer. 

David and his wife, Kara, live in Ballston Lake with their two young children, Emilie and Ethan. In his spare time, David loves hiking in the Adirondack High Peaks (17 down, 29 to go) and taking on new home improvement projects.

CHOIR DIRECTOR   Eve Kenyon

A music teacher in the Shenendahowa school system by day, Eve Kenyon has a passion for worshiping God in song. Eve began serving our church in 2000. She directs our adult choir and the worship team (which includes her husband, Jack, and daughter, Melody) that leads us in contemporary music at the beginning of most services. Recently, Eve has gathered and led members of the Village church choirs in a very popular Christmas cantata held at the First Baptist Church in December.

ORGANIST   Frank Bosher

Frank Bosher has been our church organist for more than 20 years. A member of the American Guild of Organists, he plays our 15-rank pipe organ as we praise God each week. Frank is a native of Burnt Hills and an avid sailor. He enjoys the work of restoring old organs in our area.

PARISH ASSOCIATE   Rev. Robert E. Duncan

Bob Duncan is a retired minister who has served congregations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvaia, and New York. He and his wife, Polly, live in Ballston Spa and enjoy spending time with their family and friends. Bob's main role at the church is to support the pastor and church by leading small groups and Christian Education classes, preaching, and visitation.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT   Justina Danison

Justina Danison has been serving our church as administrative assistant since 2005. She and her family (husband, Ned, and three children) have been active in the church since their return to the United States after several years of teaching English as a Second Language in Taiwan. Justina is also a talented origami artist whose fanciful jewelry is featured in local artists' cooperatives and at regional craft fairs.

CUSTODIAN   Rene Van Deinse

An active participant in our congregation for several years, Rene Van Deinse recently joined the church and has taken great pride in caring for God's house as our custodian since 2004. Rene and his wife, Robbin, live in Saratoga Springs.
